By accessing or using Unhired ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Unhired provides a resume building, hosting, and export platform. Users can create resumes, host them at a subdomain or custom domain, and export them as PDF files.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
  • One person or entity per account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious content or code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages

5. Content

5.1 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of all content you create
  • You grant us a license to host and display your content as needed to provide the Service
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your resume content

5.2 Content Standards

  • Content must not be illegal, harmful, or offensive
  • Content must not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms

6. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Paid features require an active subscription
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly via Polar.sh
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Refunds are handled according to our refund policy

7. Custom Domains

  • Custom domain support is available to subscribers
  • You must own or have rights to use the domain you configure
  • DNS configuration is your responsibility
  • We are not responsible for domain registration or renewal

8. Intellectual Property

  • The Service and its original content are owned by Unhired
  • The Unhired name, logo, and branding are our trademarks
  • The Service is open source under its respective license

9. Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service

10. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
